Comprehensive Level One Staffing is Founded by fellowship-trained endovascular Neurosurgeon, Dr. Anthony Maioriello. At Comprehensive Level One Staffing we specialize in providing surgical staffing coverage to hospitals on a full-time, part-time, and per-diem basis and are looking for neurologists to join our team!
We are working with a hospital in Virginia that is looking for Neurohospitalist coverage while they recruit a full time neurologist to join their community. If you are looking for a permanent position, this is a great way to 'test the waters' before signing a contract.
Practice Setting: Inpatient neuro consult service. No code stroke response, neuro emergencies handled via teleneurology.
Schedule:
7 on/7 off call rotation. 24 hours to see a consult.
Typical hours are 8 am - 5 pm or 8 am - 6 pm
Job Details:

Dates of Coverage: Starting in 2025
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, ED, Medicine
One APP available M-F
No Other Neurohospitalists be Present During Locum's Coverage
Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT: 15
No Response to In-House Codes
Areas of Rounding – 6, ED, ICU
You will NOT Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers
EMR: EPIC
Requirements:
Board Certified
Active Virginia license or willing to obtain one
ACLS/BLS certified
