Job Summary:
Job Description: An excellent opportunity for a Neurosurgeon to join a busy and growing practice in the Tampa Bay Area, servicing local HCA Florida Hospitals in the Largo and St. Petersburg areas. This position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to join a true neurosurgical team committed to excellence in patient care. The position consists of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and surgeries performed in hospital and outpatient surgery center settings. The practice is also focused on building multi-specialty programs within the practice to offer comprehensive care.
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
- Must hold or be able to obtain an active Florida medical license prior to start
- Microvascular Neuro skills are preferred but not required
- Fellowship training required
- Cranial skull base experience is a plus
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- The practice currently consists of two Neurosurgeons and four Physician Assistants
- Service locations include two hospitals: HCA Florida Northside Hospital (comprehensive stroke center) and HCA FL Blake Hospital
