SSM Health - Illinois is seeking a Neurologist to take over an established Neurology practice in southern Illinois. Join and established practice with one PA on the campus of Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

This is an employed position with SSM Health Medical Group, a premier multi-specialty group located in Mt. Vernon and Centralia, Illinois, and will have responsibility of see patients in both locations. SSM Health - Illinois is located where easy access is available to St. Louis, Chicago, Evansville, Indianapolis & Louisville.

  • Active Hospitalist & Intensivist program in place

Position will:

  • Work carry both an outpatient an inpatient patient base
  • Will perform testing in EMG, EEG, and VNG's. Candidates can also perform sleep studies if they are trained/certified to do so.

Candidates should possess:

  • Graduate from an ACGME Neurology residency program.
  • Will consider candidates who have done an Epilepsy or Headache fellowship, with the understanding, the position will require general Neurology work.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility, if less than 2 years after the completion of residency.

  • Guaranteed Base Salary of $350,000 per year, plus based on experience.
