Carilion Clinic has an employment opportunity for an ABMS-BC Neurologist in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg region of southwest Virginia. With a population of 185,000, the area is home to Virginia Tech and Radford University, and boasts a stable base of business and industry. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains along Virginia's Technology Corridor, the region is affordable, safe, progressive, and strategically located on the I-81 corridor, just 20 minutes from the Appalachian Trail. With a lively arts community, there's plenty to do inside as well as outside.
Aspects of this position include:
Excellent referral base with minimal ramp-up time
Electronic Medical Records- EPIC
Modern hospital facility with PACS, 64-slice CT and MRI
Hospitalist program 24x7 for medical management
Competitive base salary with productivity-based bonus
Paid malpractice and tail, full spectrum of benefits
