Facility is looking for a BC/BE Neurohospitalist to join the regions leading Comprehensive Stroke Center located in Knoxville. This is to replace a pending retirement in summer of 2024. Join our excellent team of physicians who oversee our program headquartered on the campus of our hospital. _x000D_

About this Opportunity:_x000D_
- 100% inpatient opportunity _x000D_
- 7 days on / 7 days off schedule- two physicians staffed at a time each week _x000D_
- Vascular or Neuro-critical care BC/BE preferred, but not required _x000D_
- Currently six physicians in the group. _x000D_
- Looking to replace a pending retirement summer 2024. _x000D_
- 1 in 3 home call when on service (5-6 nights/month total) _x000D_
- Opportunity to assist with Telemedicine opportunities throughout the system _x000D_
- Expert medical support staff resources available including epilepsy, neuromuscular, neuro-critical care, neurosurgery, neuro-interventional radiology and outpatient neurology _x000D_

- 541 licensed beds _x000D_
- 45 emergency room beds and a radiology suite within the department _x000D_
- 72 critical care beds (including Cardiovascular ICU, Medical-Surgical ICU and Neuro-ICU, most with tele-ICU capability) _x000D_
- 16 surgery suites _x000D_
- 5 cath labs, part of our award-winning Heart Center Triage rooms_x000D_
- Antepartum suites, labor and delivery suites and mother/baby rooms to help moms welcome the newest members of their families
