Locum - Neurology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

We are seeking locum physicians to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams at various locations across Missouri. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying the flexibility of a per diem schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews and physical assessments for patients, focusing on General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations.
• Complete one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Utilize a goniometer for range of motion testing and muscle strength assessments.
• Document findings and submit Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours of the exam.
• Participate in ongoing training during the credentialing process and complete necessary certifications.
• Manage follow-up administrative work, including medical opinions and reading diagnostics.
• Collaborate with schedulers to assign cases and ensure timely completion of evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R is mandatory.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Missouri.
• Proficient in METs testing and capable of evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Must possess a personal laptop (non-Mac) for documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid and current medical license in the state of Missouri.
• Board Certification is required.
• Certification and training in necessary medical evaluations, as detailed in the job description.
