Job Title: Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews and examinations focused on General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury.
  • Perform range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluate traumatic brain injuries.
  • Complete standardized forms including Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours of each exam.
  • Provide quick credentialing and onboarding.
  • Conduct evaluations primarily based on interviews with some physical assessments.
  • Engage in follow-up administrative work as needed (addendums, medical opinions, etc.).
  • Use a Goniometer and be proficient in METs testing and evaluations for respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
  • Complete necessary DMA training to obtain certification.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois.
  • Experience in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological exams.
  • Possession of a laptop (Windows only; no Mac/Apple products).
  • Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
  • Current CV with home address must be provided.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Must hold Board Certification.
  • Active medical license in Illinois required.
  • DMA certification is required post-hire.
