Job Title: Locum - Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

You will work in a supportive facility that prioritizes quality care and quick credentialing, ensuring that you can begin your service efficiently. Options for part-time engagement are available, with varying shifts to accommodate your schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams for Veterans.
  • Perform assessments primarily through interviews, including physical evaluations.
  • Complete one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
  • Utilize Goniometers and maintain proficiency in METs testing and other diagnostic evaluations.
  • Submit Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours of exam completion.
  • Engage in follow-up administrative work, including medical opinions and reviewing diagnostics.
  • Participate in both in-person and potential travel roles to other facility locations.
  • Training provided on Reporting/DBQs and other requisite materials.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R, or related field.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice in North Dakota.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
  • Personal laptop required (no Mac/Apple products).
  • Current CV with home address listed.
  • Willingness to complete DMA training to achieve certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Active North Dakota state license.
  • DMA certification will be required as part of the onboarding process.
