Job Title: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Join a dedicated team in South Carolina, providing essential services to our nation's Veterans. This role entails conducting General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury examinations at a supportive facility dedicated to improving the lives of those who have served. The facility prioritizes a compassionate approach, ensuring thorough and professional evaluations for Veterans in need.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
  • Perform interview-based examinations, including physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength evaluation.
  • Document findings using standardized forms and submit evaluations through the provider portal within 48 hours of exam completion.
  • Complete required training for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
  • Perform record reviews and follow up on administrative work as necessary.
  • Provide coverage on a PRN basis, with both half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) options available.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including DMA certification and training.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R.
  • Proficient in METs testing, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological evaluation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
  • Must have a current CV listing the home address for presentation purposes.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted physician license in South Carolina.
  • Board Certification from a recognized medical board.
  • Willingness to complete DMA training to obtain DMA certification.
  • ECFMG certificate required if graduated from an international medical school.
