Job Description
Details: Diagnose and treat patients 18 years and older with wide range of neurological diseases and disorders. On outpatient basis, determine nature and extent of disease or disorder using diagnostic neurological imaging and tests. Prescribe medication and treatments and consult with other health care professionals. Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medicine. Counsel patients on neurological disorders and their background. Manage patient complaint resolution. Participate in educational programs and literature review for professional development.
Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.); three-year residency in neurology; and New Mexico License to practice medicine.
