Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical management and thorough assessments for inpatient neurological cases
  • Demonstrate proficiency in AHA Stroke Management Patient Care Guidelines
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on sound therapeutic principles
  • Interpret common diagnostic findings and take appropriate actions
  • Educate patients and families as needed
  • Address discharge needs with tailored recommendations for outpatient follow-up
  • Foster effective communication with colleagues, management, patients, and families to ensure seamless, quality care delivery
  • Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to coordinate treatment plans and discharge planning
  • Clearly convey patient treatment goals and activities to staff members
  • Participate in team conferences and report any patient care concerns promptly and professionally to the program director

Qualifications

American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology BC/BE
Florida State Medical License

Working Hours

7 on 7 off with a minimum of 182 shifts per year
