Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Join a dedicated team assisting our nation's Veterans through comprehensive medical evaluations in Clarksville, TN. This position involves providing a blend of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams at various facilities, ensuring top-tier medical assessments to support those who served.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Conduct primarily interview-based evaluations with physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Evaluate and diagnose respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Record exams and submit evaluations using VES’s provider portal within 48 hours of exam completion.
• Complete follow-up administrative work, including addendums and medical opinions.
• Travel to designated facilities as needed for conducting exams.
• Utilize personal devices for report submissions; maintain proficiency in METs testing.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in any relevant specialty, including Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R.
• Proficient in METs testing and familiar with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardio conditions.
• Ability to complete required DMA training and certifications.
• Own a personal laptop (Apple products not allowed).
• Current CV with a listed home address and completeness in presentation materials.
• Willingness to perform both General Medicine and TBI evaluations.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• Board Certification in an applicable specialty.
