Locum - Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Join our dedicated team in Manhattan, Kansas, where we are committed to providing comprehensive evaluations for our nation's veterans. This position involves a unique blend of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury assessments, allowing you to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have served.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews and physical assessments for veterans, focusing on range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Perform General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations, ensuring thorough and accurate reporting
• Submit standardized forms and reports within 48 hours of exam completion
• Maintain compliance with administrative follow-ups, including addendums and medical opinions
• Utilize a personal laptop for documentation (NO Mac/Apple products)
• Participate in training and development sessions, including DMA certification

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in one of the following specialties: Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R
• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Experience in evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
• Proficient in METs testing
• Ability to travel within designated locations as needed

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current medical license in the state of Kansas
• DMA certification required (must complete training)
