Job Summary:
Our Neurology practice seeks an additional physician to join our team of physicians in Salem, Virginia. Our tenured team of experts offer highly individualized care to adult patients with common and complex neurological conditions. As part of the LewisGale Regional Health System, we partner with hundreds of physicians who share our common commitment to providing superior, compassionate care and evidence-based medicine.Qualified candidates:
- Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
- Medical Degree
- Board-certified/board-eligible
- Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to program expansion and medical education.
- Provide high-quality inpatient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
- Ability to obtain a VA medical license and DEA license
- Ability to interpret EEG tests

- No stroke call coverage – telemed services provide coverage
- 15 days of IP service, plus an excess of 4-6 shifts per month
