Opportunity:
- Ongoing 10 shifts per month, weekend coverage mostly.
- Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities.
- Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.
- Heavy surgical emphasis
- Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist.
- Provider must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
- 100% adult
- 50% trauma
- 100% inpatient
- 0-5 hospital based patients per day
- Support Staff: Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
- Surgery volume expected while on call? Average number of patients or hours? This varies at a given time. Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional/cath lab.
