Award-winning Stamford Health has a new opening for an epileptologist.
The Department of Neurology at Stamford Health is seeking an additional fellowship trained epileptologist committed to providing person-centered, patient centered care. This position is 100% outpatient with 50% epilepsy care and 50% general neurology. Candidate must be adept with EEG inpatient critical care video monitoring. Stamford Health is a primary teaching hospital site affiliated with Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons with residency programs in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery and OB/GYN. Some academic duties are required. The neurology offices are located on the Stamford Hospital campus in a modern fully updated medical office building. Loan repayment assistance is available. Through our expanded partnership with Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Stamford Health has increased its neurosurgical capabilities to treat a wider range of cerebrovascular conditions and complex stroke cases.
- Join a well-established collegial group of 6 neurologists and 2.5 neurohospitalists
- 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours for administrative duties
- 50/50 split of epilepsy and general neurology
- Daily schedule is a combination of outpatient clinic and reading EEGs
- Call is outpatient only, no codes, strokes or inpatient consults
- Outpatient call is low volume and phone call only
