Open IP Neurology Dates:
Feb 27th - Mar 4th
Mar 6th - Mar 13th
Practice Description:
INPATIENT Physician will be working with patients of General Neurology, Concussion, Epilepsy, Stroke, MS & performing EG’s.
Requirements:
Active PA license
PA DEA (permanent- address changes will not be accepted)
BC/BE American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Completion of Neurology residency
Perform EMGs+EEGs
Board certification and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) if applicable, sufficiently related to the privileges sought
Inpatient:
Total patients seen are 10-15 daily with 6-10 new consults and they would be responsible to follow up on the previous consults
Inpatient Neurology is a Consulting Services - we do not admit patients. The responsibilities are as follow:
1. Put in any orders that are required for the patient care - electronic medical records
2. Telestroke (there are only 3-4 a month)
3. Stroke Alerts / Administer the TPA
4. Work closely with DEM
5. Read Inpatient EEG's
6. Zero EMG's
