Nephrologist Opening: Watertown, NY Located 70 miles from Syracuse and 50 miles from Canadian border Details:

  • Full-time
  • Permanent position
  • Guaranteed Salary: $340,000 for two years with partnership track
  • Signing bonus: * $30,000 Signing Bonus * $20,000 after completion of year two * $10,000 after completion of year three

Practice Highlights: Nephrology Associates of Watertown, located in beautiful Northern New York, has an excellent opportunity for Nephrologist Join a thriving practice that is going on its 25th anniversary providing comprehensive nephrology services to an appreciative community Office is an efficient modernized environment within a three minute drive to Samaritan Medical Center (details listed below) Nephrology admissions are provided by a robust Hospitalist service, with consult to nephrology Hemo/dialysis unit is adjacent to the office and includes 24 stations Office equipped with web-based electronic medical record and computer equipment for remote access Radiology Services on site Catchment population: 250,000 Large network of providers offering a strong referral base Teaching opportunities are extended with accredited ACGME/AOA family medicine and internal medicine residency training programs Qualifications: Holds Board Certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Nephrology, or actively in process Values patient-centered care and has desire to work within a team model Demonstrates top-notch interpersonal skills in addition to excellent clinical skills Enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best possible care and outcomes About the Hospital: 290-hospital beds; medical staff of 180 physicians representing 42 specialties Largest community-based hospital in Northern New York Committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the residents living in Northern New York Newly constructed (2018) Cancer Center a state of the art comprehensive cancer center, soon to affiliate with Roswell Park Care Network Newly added hospital wing for obstetrical and children's inpatient care (2019) Construction for new service line: Women's Wellness and Breast Care outpatient services (2019) Not-for profit, not affiliated with larger system, financially stable Committed to providing outstanding patient care and support Location: Watertown, itself, is a small city with big city amenities.
