Hourly rate ranges from $88/hour-$98/hour based on years of experience.

Position Summary

Provides care to pediatric patients with kidney-related conditions in the virtual setting.

Essential Functions

  • Performs virtual exams, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans
  • Prescribes medications and treatment regimens
  • Educates patients and their families about kidney health, disease management, and preventative measures
  • Collaborates with other healthcare team members to coordinate care plans
  • Provides medical guidance to nursing staff Timely documentation of patient interactions, diagnosis, and treatment within Epic
  • Maintains an evidence-based clinical practice that focuses on managing kidney disease and delaying its progression
  • Provides excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Education of medical students and residents

Qualifications

  • Licensed in Washington
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology
  • Federal DEA certification
  • Experience with virtual care preferred
