Pediatric Nephrologist opening in DE - Located in Wilmington, DE - Full-time, permanent position Facility is hiring a Pediatric Nephrologist to join our growing team. In addition to the support of nurse educators, a social worker, a dietician, and an administrative assistant, the division works in close collaboration with our team of pediatric rheumatologists, pediatric urologists, specialized renal and interventional radiologists and an adult transplant program. Our expanding Dialysis program offers a medical director position. Experienced Pediatric Nephrologists are encouraged to apply. Position Highlights: The division provides a complete range of inpatient and outpatient pediatric nephrology services, including management of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, inpatient and outpatient plasmapheresis services, renal replacement therapy (CRRT, PD, and HD - with and without ECMO), and kidney transplantation. The division has innovative clinical programs including a large ambulatory blood pressure monitoring program which includes telemedicine monitoring, an active telemedicine nephrology-driven program that offers care for patients from long distances, and multi-disciplinary Williams syndrome, sickle cell disease and kidney stone clinics. Additionally, the division is very active in large multicenter QI and research collaborative studies including NINJA, IROC, and NAPTRCS which affords ample clinical research opportunities. There are teaching opportunities that include medical students and physicians from our residency program. This position requires: - Fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology - Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics with a subspecialty certificate in Pediatric Nephrology - Collaborative practice style which supports clinical training, research experience and education for medical students, residents, fellows and other healthcare workers
