Nephrology opening in Pennsylvania
- Located in Lebanon, PA - Philadelphia 90m
- Full-time, permanent position
- Income potential: 235K-265K
- Productivity Bonus: Upon Partnership: Base drops to $185,000 with around $40,000-$60,000 annual productivity bonus
- Overhead: Overhead is determined by productivity average 48% to 50%
- Average Collections: 60-65% of billables within 90 days, average collection rate at 20 days. Practice target is $63,000/day
- Partnership: 2 YR track, with partnership offered at beginning of YR 3, opportunity for building buy-in at YR 5. The buy-in will be around $60,000- $75,000 (depending on Accounts Receivable status) of pre-tax earnings. Physicians buy-in with pre-tax earnings deduced over X year period.
- Relocation/Sign on: Relocation offered. Sign on: 30K from Wellspan Hospital. Requires 5 year commitment or percentage payback. Relocation $3000
- Malpractice/Subscriptions: Occurrence based
- Retirement: Provided 401K with market match. Average 8-12%.
- PTO: 12 days, 8.5 paid holidays (increases to 18 days at partnership)
- CME: 2 weeks per year plus 3K
SCHEDULE:
- The clinic is open Monday through Friday 7a to 5p - Physicians have a 4.5-day week with a fixed half day.
- It is up to the Physicians when they would like to begin their practice every day.
- The incoming physician can spend a half day at the clinic and a half day rounding/doing consults at Good Samaritan Hospital.
- Additionally, one week a month will be spent at the DaVita site (each physician is set up at 1 site and the NP does most of the day-to-day. Very close in location.
- During the week spent at the DaVita site you will have no outpatient responsibilities but will round/do consults at the hospital. It is light because you are rotating with the other physician so only a couple days
VOLUME:
- Clinic: ½ day around 10-12
- Hospital volume varies day to day, on average 7-10 patients per day, consult service 98% (not admissions).
CALL: 1:2 weeknights and 1:3 weekend call shared with the Dr. Siddiqui and the Nurse Practitioner. Call volume tends to be minimal Dr. Siddiqui described as benign and he very rarely goes in. On the weekends he rounds at Good Samaritan, it takes 1-2 hours and he uses that day to do yard work, things that would keep him in the community.
