MUSC-Health- Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a board certified or board eligible Transplant Nephrologist to care for the rapidly growing local population of Lancaster County, SC. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to join an established and busy hospital-based transplant practice along two other transplant nephrologists and two surgeons.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Clinical expertise in Transplant Nephrology
- UNOS-certified, BC in Internal Medicine, and BC or BE in Nephrology
- Academic orientation, enthusiasm for teaching, and passion for outreach
Our opportunity:
- Position focused on hospital and ambulatory clinical setting, including inpatient services and outpatient clinic for pre- and post-renal transplant patients
- Involvement in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Excellent Hospitalist support provided
- Normal office hours
- On call rotation expected to be 1 in 4
- Potential satellite hours in Chester or Indian Land
