Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is now accepting applications for a full-time, employed faculty position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology.

The Division of Nephrology is seeking an incumbent who will contribute to and enhance the educational and clinical activities within the division by providing compassionate, efficient, high-quality consultative patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings and supporting the division and department's research goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Rounding includes general consultative and dialysis services, as well as shared weekend calls with the entire faculty on a rotational basis.
- Involvement in specialty clinics, journal clubs, and patient review meetings is required. You will be a crucial member of the team
- Engage in TJU's clinical, teaching, and research mission. Develop educational materials and provide instruction to fellows, residents, nurses, students, and other staff involved in nephrology patient care.
- Ambulatory nephrology clinics in the Honickman Center with some satellite coverage and telehealth clinics
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must have an MD/DO degree or equivalent
- Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology
- Direct experience in managing complex inpatients and outpatients
- Completed 2-year fellowship in nephrology
- Applicants should possess a license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania by the time the appointment starts
- Interest in teaching and growth in an academic setting
- POCUS experience preferred but not required.
