Locums – Redding, California, Nephrology Job
Clinical Role:

- Estimated Start Date: End of December 2024
- Number of Days/Month: Approximately 15-20 days per month
- Schedule: Either ED 24hr call only or hourly plus night call (most likely 24hr call)
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital - Critical Care Unit
- Duties: Will mostly be nephrology consults (inpatient and outpatient), rounding in the ICU, with occasional admissions through the Emergency Dept. Our intensivists can manage acute nephrology issues in the ICU, but need subspecialty assistance to manage patients with advanced kidney disease in the ICU
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: None - APPs are employed by the contracted critical care group. These APPs do not support the nephrologists
- Reason for Coverage: Lack of nephrology providers, due to recent loss of two nephrologists in the community
- Board Certified – Required
- Active CA License – Required
- DEA – Required
