The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a Full Time Academic Clinician Physician. This position will be primarily located in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and will be filled by a critical team member to further grow, build, and develop our existing practice. Our vision is to build a team of clinicians to serve the region. They will be supported by nurses and various support staff. The candidate must have completed a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship and be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology. The Pediatric Nephrology Division has a multi-decade tradition of excellence and a robust ambulatory practice, being the major referral site for Western Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia. The staff includes 7 physicians and 1 advanced practice providers. The Pediatric Nephrology Division has a busy inpatient and consult service and a vibrant Fellowship program (currently with 2 Fellows per year). The Division operates in many locations across Western Pennsylvania and is poised for strong growth to provide all children with the best care.

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is located in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood, our facility is situated on 10 acres – 1.5 million square feet of usable space with 317 licensed beds.
