General Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Education Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Fellowship in nephrology.
License & Certifications:
- Board certification in nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
Experience:
- While specific requirements may vary, most locum nephrologist positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting.
