The Division of Renal Electrolyte in the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC are seeking outstanding physicians (clinician educators) at the assistant or associate professor level (nontenure track).
The Division of Renal Electrolyte has built a dynamic and collaborative group of clinician educators. In addition to expertise in general nephrology, we are looking for candidates who excel in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents and nephrology fellows.
There will be opportunities for academic growth, career development and mentorship, with protected time for educational and clinical research activities, depending on applicant interests and accomplishments. We have strong basic and clinical research programs, and encourage translational research activities. Academic appointment is commensurate with professional experience. There are opportunities for leadership roles within our division. Compensation packages are competitive.
