- Practice Setting: NICU Level III
- Dates of Coverage: beginning May 28Th, 2025
- How Many Neonatologists in Your Group? 3
- How Many Pediatricians in Your Group? only pediatricians are our current neonatologists
- How Many Pediatric Mid-Levels in Your Group? 6 plus 1 per diem
- Will Other Neonatologists Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates?: no we have 3 full-time neonatologists
- Will the Locums be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? Yes, RNs in the NICU and other ancillary staff as needed, but no other NNPs
- Describe Support Staff: Neonatologist present during the day and on call available 24 hours otherwise
- Number of Exam Rooms: 16 bed unit
- Average Number of Admissions Per Day: 0-2 average per shift
- Total Number of Beds: 16 bed NICU unit coverage with coverage for well baby problems only during nightshift
- NICU Level: Level III
- Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Attend C-Sections? Yes
- Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Cover the Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery? Yes
- Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Transfer Neonates? No
- Describe Referral/Transfer Protocol: No transport requirement with this position.
- Regional center with Level IV NICU is only about 5 mins away and they manage all transports in the region.
