Position:
Permanent MD/DO - Neonatologist
Location: Newport News, Virginia
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive neonatal care to premature and critically ill newborns.
Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including intubation, umbilical line placement, and ventilator management.
Collaborate with NICU nurses, pediatric specialists, and respiratory therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in rounds, care planning, and family consultations.
Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and neonatal nurse practitioners.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO in Neonatology.
Active Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Experience in a Level III or IV NICU preferred.
Strong skills in neonatal resuscitation and critical care management.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
