Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director to lead our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team located in West Michigan, covering Grand Rapids and the lakeshore.
Job Description:
- 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient
- Mon – Fri (no holidays or weekends)
- Team of four providers
- 8 neuro-cognitive testings per week
- Psychometrist to assist and business staff
- Completion of at least two years of clinical experience in an organized healthcare setting, supervised by a licensed psychologist, with one year post-doctorate
- Internship endorsed by the American Psychological Association
- Comprehensive adult and geriatric cognitive and psychological assessments to assist with accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning
- Specific expertise in the assessment of: Memory disturbance, Dementia, Traumatic brain injury, Sports-related concussion, Cognitive disturbance associated with epilepsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, and other medical and neurological conditions
- Pre-surgical assessments, including examination of patients being evaluated for deep brain stimulation, bariatric surgery, and epilepsy surgery
- Assessment of decision-making capacity
- 2+ years of work experience in a leadership role or has completed training specific skills to work in the position is highly preferred
- Not accepting new graduate candidates - experience required
- Not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain again
