Clinical Role:
Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available
Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on 7-week rotating schedule. 1.0 FTE does approximately 170 hours per month of in-house coverage
Neonatologists provide in-house call and backup call from home
Join a 5-physician practice
Provide a full range of services in a Level-III, 36-bed NICU
Services include high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, total body cooling, and aEEG
Average daily census of 26
Average length of stay of 19 days
Approximately 500 admissions annually
Pediatric subspecialty support available in Cardiology, Neurology, General Surgery, and Endocrinology
NICU has maintained The Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification in the Care of Premature Babies since 2012
Open to new Fellow graduate candidates if already BC in Pediatrics
