About the Community:
Wichita is the largest city in the State of Kansas and is known for its breathtaking sunsets, friendly residents, 4-season climate with lots of sunshine, remarkable affordability and ease of getting around. It also offers a low cost of living, short commutes, and high concentration of post-graduate degreed professionals due to the aviation industry and concentration of healthcare serving 2/3rds of Kansas and parts of the contiguous states. Not only has Wichita been named an All-American City four times since 1962, it also ranked among the top 32 cities nationally for quality of life. In addition, Kiplinger ranked Wichita a “Best Value City: in 2011. When it comes to education, parents have many high-quality options in deciding the appropriate educational environment for their children, including public, private and faith-based schools. There are numerous excellent college and university options as well. With its big city amenities along with perks often found only in towns a fraction of its size, it’s no wonder Wichita is not only a great place to visit, but a wonderful place to live.
