We have an exciting opportunity for a PT or FT Board Eligible/Board Certified MFM to join our practice at the Bon Secours/Mercy Health System in vibrant Richmond, Virginia. St. Mary’s Hospital, the flagship hospital of Bon Secours Mercy Health, is a well-respected hospital system in the Richmond area. This hospital is part of the largest and most expansive health care systems the country.

Job Description:
  • Open to part-time with guaranteed hours (NO Per Diem) or full-time candidates
  • Outpatient practice setting.
  • Coverage needed due to a new position.
  • Desired start date is as soon as credentialed.
  • Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, consults, and a limited range of inpatient procedures at two hospitals.
  • No deliveries required.
  • Part of a 2+ physician Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) practice offering consult-only services.
  • Two outpatient clinic locations supported by Nurse Practitioners.
  • Minimal procedures, including cerclages (estimated 20-30 per year) and in-office Amniocentesis.
  • Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs associated with the group, covered by Pediatrix-affiliated neonatologists and NNPs.
  • Opportunities available for full-time, part-time, Medical Director, per diem, in-clinic-only, or on-call-only roles.
  • Practice uses Viewpoint and EPIC systems.
  • At least 1 year of MFM work experience (not including fellowship) is preferred; however, new/upcoming fellowship graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • This is a permanent position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Submission Requirements
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN
  • TRULY Board Eligible (1-5 years from residency) or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine working toward BC
  • Fellowship-trained in MFM (to be completed prior to start)
  • VA license (or willing to obtain)
  • BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain)
  • Clean Malpractice and License History
  • At least 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine work experience (not including fellowship)
  • Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B?
  • Is the provider interested in FT or PT (NO Per Diem) employment?
