Northwest Ohio Neonatal Associates (NWONA) is a private practice neonatology group in Toledo, Ohio. We provide coverage for a 72-bed level 3 NICU located in ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. We are looking for a friendly, hard-working, enthusiastic colleague who is an excellent clinician and interested in teaching and clinical research mentoring.

  • We have an average daily census of 50-55 patients with approximately 850 admissions per year. We have an active delivery and unit-based transport service and are a member of the Vermont-Oxford Network. Our outcomes are in the top quartile for level 3 NICUs.
  • You will be joining a diverse group of 7 neonatologists, and 8 NNPs. We provide 24/7 in-house coverage and, in collaboration with the NNPs, cover 2 level 1 hospitals for delivery and consultative services. Call is shared equally amongst all physicians.
  • Academic appointment is offered at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences to teach medical students and pediatric residents.
  • Wide range of specialist available in affiliation with Toledo Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
