The Opportunity:

Medicine for Business and Industry (MBI), a leading provider of occupational injury care services in the Southwestern United States, is in search of a Regional Medical Director (RMD) for the Arizona Region. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary physician executive driven by innovation and clinical excellence to join an organization that creates healthier, more resilient workforces and fosters sustainable business growth.


The Position:

In collaboration with medical and operations leadership, this executive will work closely with the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Medicine to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across all medical centers in their assigned region. This role requires leading and mentoring a team of healthcare providers while ensuring clinical quality, access to care, and the implementation of innovations. The RMD will also collaborate with senior leadership to support clinical integration, develop functional strategies, and supervise clinical staff to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:


Education:


  • Valid and Unrestricted Arizona Medical Board MD or DO license
  • Current DEA registration (all schedules) and a minimum of a BLS certificate


Experience:


  • Extensive clinical experience, ideally in occupational and/or preventative medicine
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality patient care in diverse settings
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, including supervision of clinical staff
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership
  • Familiarity with OSHA guidelines, state and federal regulations, and industry best practices
  • Experience driving clinical innovations and quality improvement initiatives
