Exceptional opportunity for an Associate Director of Urology to join a prominent academic medical center in New York City. In this role, you will be a key leader in an innovative urology department, delivering the full range of general and specialized urologic care in an outpatient and surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all clinical, operational, and administrative aspects of the urology service, including supervision of a skilled team of staff and physician assistants (PAs).
  • Provide expert mentorship and supervision to urology residents and medical students, supporting their education and hands-on training in a vibrant academic hospital setting.
  • Engage in both clinical operations and research, with ample opportunities for program development and innovation.
  • Take part in the department’s call schedule, ensuring high standards of patient care and support.

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology with a New York State medical license.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in teaching, with an interest in research and program development.
  • Leadership or management experience, particularly within academic medical centers or public health systems, is highly valued.
  • Expertise in general urology, with additional skills in oncology, reconstruction, pelvic medicine, voiding dysfunction, or endourology.
