Exceptional Opportunity to Direct a System-Wide Neonatal Program in Las Vegas, NV. We are seeking a dynamic BC Neonatologist to lead and develop a comprehensive Neonatal system of care. Offers the ability to continue clinical practice combined with leading a large team of highly skilled Neonatologists and Advanced Practice Professionals.
Job Description:
- Practice includes three level III NICU's with a combined annual total of 8,000 deliveries and a combined average daily census of 85.
- Sunrise Children's Hospital has a 72-bed level III NICU
- Our NICU care is state-of-the-art offering nitric oxide, high-frequency ventilation and the latest methods for cardiac surgery, neurosurgical procedures and GI conditions.
- Our unit is the only NICU in Nevada that provides ECMO for newborns less than four weeks old.
- Therapeutic hypothermia treatment available that may improve the long-term outcomes for HIE infants - Mountain View Hospital has a 24-bed level III NICU
- Services offered include high frequency (jet and oscillators), body cooling and iNO is available .
- Full pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery.
- The 425-bed teaching full-service hospital is in the heart of Northwest Las Vegas, one of the fastest growing areas in the valley.
- Teaching and CQI opportunities. - Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center
- A new state-of-the-art 15-bed level III NICU
- Pediatric subspecialists include cardiology and surgery.
- The 265-bed hospital is in Spring Valley, a suburb of Las Vegas. - Services include neonatal ECMO, iNO, high frequency ventilation, (jet and oscillators) and total body cooling.
- Full pediatric subspecialty support including a busy pediatric cardiovascular surgery program.
- Resident and medical student teaching with an opportunity for an academic appointment.
- CQI and clinical research opportunities.
- Administrative responsibilities include developing protocols, policies, processes, and standardizing care across the system.
- Shifts, on call, and weekend schedules to be discussed at interview
