About USACS
As an Observation Medicine Medical Director with USACS, you ll be responsible for managing observation medicine services by collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. As a leader for both the hospital and US Acute Care Solutions, you will influence broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders.
Job Details
- Oversee day-to-day management of the unit
- Provide leadership in the operations of the unit
- Responsible for peer review, quality assurance, provider staffing
- Assure quality patient experience by managing protocols and complaints
- Practice Clinically
Administrative Responsibilities
- Lead and organize all meetings to represent the Observation Unit
- Responsible for the supervision on the onsite Physician Staff by managing the day to day responsibilities of these clinicians
- Report to the National Director of Observation Services
- Maintain improvement plans for any area not meeting expected benchmarks
- Investigate quality referrals from the hospital quality committee
Requirements
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine
- A minimum of 3 years experience caring for hospital based patients
- Previous administrative experience desirable
