Saint Alphonsus is a physician-led, 650+ provider multispecialty group with an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to lead a growing group in Boise, ID. Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for children, adolescents, and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse adult and geriatric outpatient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial multidisciplinary team and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Support: Practice includes 3 Physicians, 1 Clinical Psychologist and recruitment of additional providers underway. Part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Clinics. Enjoy a spacious, recently renovated clinic setting. Neighboring inpatient services at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program
- Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
- Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
