Jefferson Health and Thomas Jefferson University seek a geriatrician for a combined outpatient and hospital-based role in South Philadelphia.
The successful candidate will join the faculty of the Division of Geriatric Medicine within the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and will provide clinical care in South Philadelphia. The clinical settings for geriatric care will include an outpatient practice directly across from Methodist Hospital as well as in the in-patient setting at Methodist Hospital. This position will include the Medical Directorship at the ACE Unit. The candidate will report to the Director of the Division of Geriatric Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and will be supported administratively by the Associate Administrator for the Division of Geriatric Medicine. The candidate will be appointed as a faculty member of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at the appropriate rank. Jefferson Health encompasses 17 hospitals and over 150 ambulatory sites; the Office of Population Health; and Jefferson Health Plan, which is Jefferson’s wholly owned health plan.

- Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine/Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine.
- Geriatric Medicine physicians from both Internal Medicine and Family Medicine primary board certification are encouraged to apply.
