Job Title: Medical Director/Primary Care
Location: Lancaster, NH
Salary: $290k-315k
We have an exciting new full-time / permanent opportunity for an experienced Medical Director Primary Care with one of our leading healthcare facilities in Lancaster New Hampshire. The staff at this facility are dedicated to improving quality of care, increasing customer / patient satisfaction, and empowered to be more effective in their work.

Physician Workload:
Payer mix – 35% Medicare, 15% Medicaid, 35% Commercial, balance is “other” Age distribution – pediatric to geriatric, high elderly population in area Patients per day – Average 20-24 for full day office visits 28 hours direct patient care out of Lancaster office, 9 hours Med Dir admin hours, and 3 practice admin hours.

About the Center: The major strength of the Medical Center is found in the ability of our physicians and staff to offer extensive services utilizing state-of-the-art technology, while maintaining the personalized care of a community hospital. A 25-bed critical access hospital offering medical, surgical, and intensive care services. In addition, a wide variety of outpatient services are available, including cardiac and physical rehabilitation; fully staffed oncology department; 24- hour emergency care; a fully equipped laboratory; and an extensive radiology department. This location is blessed with strong leadership and a dedicated community that allows us to meet the ever-changing requirements of today’s healthcare environment.

Lancaster is home to over 3,200 residents and routinely attracts visitors from all over who want
to enjoy the peaceful environment, parks and outdoor activities, and downtown boutique
shops. Considered the gateway to the Great North Woods Region of New Hampshire, Lancaster is home to one of NH’s 4,000 footers, Mt. Cabot, Weeks State Park, and a portion sits in the
White Mountain National Forest.

Requirements:
- Physician Licensed by the State of New Hampshire
- Demonstrates the ability to perform the technical skills and critical thinking outlined in the performance standards
- Must be COVID vaccinated
- At least 2 years admin experience
Physician Workload:
Payer mix – 35% Medicare, 15% Medicaid, 35% Commercial, balance is “other” Age distribution – pediatric to geriatric, high elderly population in area Patients per day – Average 20-24 for full day office visits 28 hours direct patient care out of Lancaster office, 9 hours Med Dir admin hours, and 3 practice admin hours.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $285,000-$310,000 (depending on experience)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p – with flexibility)
- Relocation: Relocation assistance of up to $9,000 rental assistance for first 6 months (taxable), up to $10,000 of moving assistance.
- 5 weeks’ vacation, 5 days sick time
