Location: Northern New Hampshire along the Connecticut River, near the border with Vermont. This town offers a blend of natural beauty, outdoor activities, and small-town charm, making it a unique and appealing place to live or visit in the northern part of the state. Approximately 180 miles northwest of Boston!

Facility: Medical center emphasizes community-oriented care, aiming to provide accessible and comprehensive healthcare services.

Opportunity:
  • Full-time outpatient position with leadership/Division Chair interest.
  • Seeking a provider who plans to stay and practice within the community
  • Serves as the clinician who oversees and guides the outpatient care and the medical director(s) of quality for primary care, facilitates office flow and addresses day-to-day clinical aspects, and acts as the direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners
  • The Primary Care Medical Director will spend 1/3 of the scheduled time, approximately 12 hours per week on Medical Director Responsibilities and 2/3 of time, 28 hours per week as a primary care clinician and will work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of the health care team within the Health Centers and the Hospital
  • 20-24 patients per day
  • Enjoys EMR Optimization, implementation and development, best practice strategies as well as direct patient care
  • Community call (including local nursing home patients) TBD, likely 1:4
  • EMR is Meditech Expanse, Dragon dictation
  • Reports to the Chief Medical Officer
  • Supported by an RN Team leader and designated MA
  • Excellent IT and Marketing support to help build volume
  • Qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program
