Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Associate Chief of Emergency Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The hospital is a member of NYC Health + Hospitals. Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

• Examine, diagnose, treat, and provide high quality patient care.
• Under the direction of the Chairman of the department, direct, oversee, manage and evaluate all aspects of clinical services and medical education provided by members of the division to deliver accredited medical services that meet all medical standards required by law
• Perform full range of administrative/operational responsibilities to ensure the efficient achievement of departmental goals.

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
• Five years of full time licensed experience as a physician practicing general medicine acceptable to the Medical Board of the hospital
