We are seeking a talented and motivated Chief Medical Officer to help us deliver the highest standard of medical care and best-in-class outcomes for patients and the teams who care for them. Reporting directly to the CEO and a core member of the Executive Leadership team, the Chief Medical Officer is a critical hire to help lead our passionate, skilled, and committed team at Hopscotch as we work to achieve our big and important mission.
Compensation: $300,000
Responsibilities:
· Design and development of a robust clinical strategy, based on specific needs of rural patients and best practices of advanced primary care models, and execution against that strategy in collaboration with Executive Leadership team to enable best in class results, clinical and financial.
· Support of foundational process and infrastructure to deliver high-quality, safe care for patients.
· Clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
· Quality assurance and regulatory compliance procedures and audits.
· Recruitment, empowerment, management, and engagement of our provider team.
· Short- and long-term provider recruitment strategies.
· Direct management of physicians and APP’s.
· Drive provider NPS and engagement survey scores.
· Champion change management and culture of excellence.
· Delivery of clinical, operational and financial results (quality, safety, cost of care, patient satisfaction).
· Leadership and collaboration across Executive Leadership team and Hopscotch to drive broader success at Hopscotch including external stakeholder engagement, culture/employee engagement, strategic planning, and growth.
Requirements:
· 10+ years of combined clinical and management experience in healthcare services, ideally in a value-based care model within primary care.
· An understanding of the needs of rural communities and culture and the ability to factor those needs into the care model and our approach to serve and grow our footprint in rural communities.
· Deep understanding of value-based care, PCP 2.0 models, and the key levers to enable outcomes for patients and providers in an innovative care model, including provider empowerment, engagement, and performance.
· Success in the design and build of new capabilities and processes to meet patient needs as well as leadership and collaboration to drive results in a high-growth, fast-paced organization.
· Effective development and execution of strategies to support continuous improvement and change management.
· Strong management and leadership skills, including people management, for highly competent and skilled individuals.
