An existing primary care office seeks a talented Medical Director to lead its team in beautiful central Maine. Behavioral health support, including a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a licensed clinical social worker, provides counseling and social work services within the practice along with primary care to improve the health and well-being of the patients and the community and seek a leader who shares this desire.

About the opportunity:

• Hospital-employed position
• 100% Outpatient Family Medicine practice
• Monday through Friday
• The weekly schedule involves 16 hours of direct patient contact, with the remainder of time dedicated to practice leadership and care coordination
• Mentor, lead, and promote a culture and focus on the quality of care

Who we are seeking:

• An experienced family medicine physician with medical director experience, a commitment to providing care to an underserved population, and a strong interest in team building, mentorship, and collaboration.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO)
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board-certification
