Job Details:
- Board-certified in critical care or pulmonary critical care medicine
- 5 years of experience in clinical medicine, working in ICU setting
- Participate in direct patient care and resident/fellow teaching at least 8 weeks out of the year
- Experience spent in a clinical leadership role with demonstrable participation and outcomes
- Preferably experienced as teaching faculty in a residency or fellowship training program
- Preferably Experienced with ECMO and ventricular assist devices.
- Serve as a leader in establishing/revising and implementing program guidelines, policies, procedures, protocols, and critical care order sets to improve the quality of patient care
- Participate in monthly meetings with the CMO or his designee to review infection rates, ICU LOS/bed management concerns readmits to the ICU, nursing care topics, provider care concerns, and areas of focus for the month
