Job Description
Our client in Santa Barbara County, CA is in need of a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a full-time assignment!
Job details:
- Start: ASAP
- Consultative-only practice with one office location
- Based out of a 400-bed state-of-the-art Level-I Trauma Center with a Level-III NICU and helicopter transport service
- Provider must be comfortable doing their own scans. Candidates must have strong ultrasound skills (limited sonographer support in this practice).
- The group provides prenatal diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, amniocentesis, CVS and fetal echocardiography.
- Group works collaboratively with OB Hospitalists.
- A small group, fully staffed at 2.5 MFMs.
- Days in the office, Monday though Friday, and on-call at night (mostly phone coverage) every third
- Research opportunities exist with an affiliation with the University of California Santa Barbara.
- Completion of Fellowship is required - new grads are welcome to apply

Job Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years from residency) in Maternal-Fetal Medicine subspecialty - REQUIRED
- CA License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained (to be completed prior to start) (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
- Inpatient and outpatient Perinatology experience (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
- Is the provider comfortable doing ultrasounds/sonography on their own? (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
