Position Highlights:

Practice Setting: Hospital-based practice within a leading healthcare system
Schedule: Monday to Friday with shared on-call duties (flexible scheduling options)
On-call Coverage: Shared among team members to ensure work-life balance
Responsibilities:
Provide expert care in the management of high-risk pregnancies and obstetric complications.
Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and CVS (chorionic villus sampling).
Lead consultations for complex cases, offering insight and recommendations for maternal and fetal health.
Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, pediatricians, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
Provide preconception counseling, addressing risk factors for patients planning pregnancies.
Manage both inpatient and outpatient care for high-risk patients and their families.
Take part in teaching and mentoring opportunities for residents and medical students.
Contribute to research and clinical trials to advance maternal-fetal care.
Qualifications:
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).
Active medical license in Michigan or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies or completion of an MFM fellowship.
Proficient in performing advanced diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS, and fetal monitoring.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
New graduates with fellowship training in MFM are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and patient-centered care skills are essential.
