Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive maternal-fetal care to high-risk pregnant patients, managing both obstetrical and medical complications of pregnancy.
Perform advanced diagnostic procedures including ultrasound, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to manage complex pregnancies.
Provide consultative services to obstetricians and primary care providers for high-risk patients.
Perform pre-conception counseling for women with known high-risk conditions or those planning pregnancies.
Manage inpatient and outpatient care, including follow-ups, lab work, and maternal health evaluations.
Participate in teaching opportunities and research initiatives within the hospital system.
Engage in on-call coverage for emergency consultations or care.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Active, unrestricted medical license in Michigan, or ability to obtain licensure.
Extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics and the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
Strong background in diagnostic procedures and managing multifaceted medical conditions during pregnancy.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
