Job Description

Seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for locum coverage from January 25, 2025, through February 7, 2025, due to vacation coverage. This is a 24-hour on-call position with no other MFM physicians on staff during this time, though OB Hospitalists will be available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practice Setting:
  • Hospital and on-call duties
  • 24-hour call coverage
• Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-risk maternal and fetal cases during on-call shifts
  • Provide consultative services and support to the OB Hospitalists
  • Oversee and manage the Level III NICU nursery admissions (average of 3 per day)
• On-Call Requirements:
  • 24-hour call coverage
  • Available to respond promptly during on-call hours

• NICU Level: III
• Average Nursery Admissions Per Day: 3

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Fellowship Training: Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Licensing:
  • Active New York State License
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NALS
  • PALS

Additional Notes:

• This position is for vacation coverage, so flexibility with on-call hours is essential.
• There will be no additional MFM support onsite, but OB Hospitalists are available for general obstetric support.
